About us

FUNDACJA PRZEDSIĘBIORCZOŚĆ ROZWÓJ EDUKACJA was established on January 2, 2019 by Jacek Bury, a Lublin entrepreneur and senator of the Republic of Poland of the 10th term.

The PRE Foundation is made up of professionally active people, full of passion, willing to share their knowledge and experience.

The Foundation has an educational, social, and economic focus. It was established primarily for young, talented, and ambitious people who are open to expanding their knowledge and gaining new experiences.

The PRE Foundation is a business environment institution (BSE) that conducts non-profit activities and in its activities, economic education and the flow of information will play a key role, which are extremely important for socio-economic development on a local level.

Mission

The Foundation's mission is to actively support and activate the development of entrepreneurship through education.

A key activity will also be to familiarize young people with the principles of economic life and prepare them for the expectations of the modern labor market.

Implementation of the mission will be based mainly on cooperation with local companies and entrepreneurs.

Goals

The Foundation's primary goals are activities related to supporting and activating entrepreneurship through education, supporting economic development, and assisting in attracting domestic and foreign investors. The Foundation will pursue its goals by promoting entrepreneurship, supporting the creation of new companies, providing advisory services, conducting analyses, and creating a network of so-called "business angels." The Foundation's goals will also be achieved through organizing competitions, internship programs, scholarship programs, and grants aimed at, among other things, equalizing educational opportunities for children and youth, with particular emphasis on those in difficult financial circumstances. The Foundation will also work to establish formal and informal groups dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship education, acquiring new skills and qualifications, and stimulating and developing local communities. This will enable the integration of education with business, undertaking activities aimed at optimally matching the competencies of students and graduates with the requirements of employers, and enabling the two-way transfer of knowledge between business and education.

What We Do

At Fundacja Przedsiębiorczość Rozwój Edukacja (PRE), we believe that education and entrepreneurship go hand in hand.
Our mission is to equip young people with the skills, opportunities, and confidence they need to succeed in life—whether as innovative business leaders, community changemakers, or skilled professionals.

We focus on three main areas of activity:

1. Education & Skills Development

We provide programs that prepare students for the real challenges of the job market and entrepreneurship, including:

  • Scholarship Programs for talented students to pursue their passions.

  • Workshops & Trainings in leadership, business management, and innovation.

  • Career Guidance to help young people plan their futures effectively.

2. Connecting Youth with Business

We create opportunities for students to experience the business world firsthand, bridging the gap between school and industry:

  • Lessons in Business – interactive visits to companies where students meet entrepreneurs and learn from real-life experiences.

  • School Business Club – a network for young people to exchange ideas, work on projects, and develop business initiatives.

  • Mentorship Programs – pairing students with successful professionals for one-on-one guidance.

3. Community Engagement & Social Responsibility

We inspire young people to become active members of their communities:

  • Local Projects that address social and economic needs in our region.

  • Conferences & Events bringing together educators, business leaders, and youth.

  • CSR Initiatives promoting ethical business and sustainable development.
